A perfect South Dakota day…
Team Larry / Saturday, May 28th, 2011 / No Comments »One of the rewards of living in South Dakota is the absolute perfection of some days–puffy clouds, clean air, fertile fields. Today was a day that reminded me of why I live here. We set out late this morning with friends on bicycles to see what the flooded Missouri River was up to. Twenty-five plus miles later, we had had a breathtaking ride across the Vermillion-Newcastle bridge to Nebraska and then down to Clay County Park with freshly plowed fields and woods on all sides. We sat on a dock and watched the Missouri flooding its banks and moving very swiftly. What could be better than a spring ride in South Dakota?
